Georgia Charter Bus Rental Service

From the "Jimmy Carter Peanut" found in Plains, Georgia to the "World's Largest Peanut" in Ashburn, Georgia…vacationers are just plain nuts about Georgia!

Georgia is known around the world for its Southern Style and Southern Charm. This can be found at the many historic plantations found throughout the state of Georgia. Some of the more spectacular Georgia plantations include the Pebble Hill Plantation which is location 5-miles south of Thomasville, Georgia and the Holliday-Dorsey-Fife House in Fayetteville, Georgia. This plantation has a long history including being the childhood home to the infamous "Doc" Holliday and school dormitory to the grandmother of Margaret Mitchell, author of the novel Gone With The Wind. The house was built in 1855 and is filled with period furnishing and memorabilia from the making of the movie Gone With The Wind.

Another popular movie that was made in Georgia is Fried Green Tomatoes, based on the book written by Fanny Flagg titled, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whitlestop Café. The actual Whitlestop Café is found in the town of Juliette, Georgia. Juliette was a virtual ghost town until the movie came out in 1991, since then it has become a must see for many vacationers to the State of Georgia. This movie may have made tomatoes famous in Georgia, but long before the 1990s Georgia was known for its peaches. In fact, the peach became the official state fruit in April of 1995 and had its own stamp issued just a few months later.

Outdoors enthusiasts have many options of entertainment in Georgia. The state of Georgia has mountains to climb, rivers to run and an ocean to swim. Lovers of the arts have hundreds of choices of museums and live theatres offering plays, ballets and operas. Family fun can be had on the Georgia beaches or at the amusement park. Six Flags Over Georgia… Let's face it! The reason so many vacationers are nuts about Georgia is that it offers visitors the best of all worlds!
